How to calculate standard deviations for n > 7

Use the following formulas:

standard deviation
relative standard deviation
sr = (s / x) . 100 [%]
standard deviation of the mean
sx = s / √n

n - size of sample (No of measurements), in this case n = 10
x - arithmetic mean

Example:

measured values xi
xi - x  power round
x1 9.63 -0.04 0.001764
x2 9.63 -0.04 0.001764
x3 9.65 -0.02 0.000484
x4 9.70 0.03 0.000784
x5 9.67 0.00 0.000004
x6 9.85 0.18 0.031684
x7 9.57 -0.10 0.010404
x8 9.81 0.14 0.019044
x9 9.65 -0.02 0.000484
x10 9.56 -0.11 0.012540
arithmetic mean x 9.67 sum 0.078960
    sum / (n - 1) 0.008773
s =   square root 0.093666 0.094

sr= (s / x) . 100 [%] =     0.968425 0.97 [%]
sx = s / √n     0.02962 0.030
