ECONOMY OF VETERINARY BUSINESS

Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Faculty of Veterinary Hygiene and Ecology – 4th year

Course Requirements:

Attendance

Consistent attendance (at both lectures and practical sessions) is advisable. You are required to be on time for the class. You are here to learn. Attendance may be taken or you may be asked to sign in at the beginning of each class.

***More than one unexcused practical sessions absence will result in an "F" for the entire course regardless of performance.***

You are responsible for obtaining materials missed during your absence. Handouts (PowerPoint presentation files and text files) are available at the following web site - https://cit.vfu.cz/ekonomika/, however, it is important and we highly recommend you to take notes on what is being discussed at the lecture in order to get maximum comprehension). We will frequently check your knowledge of the lectures and practices topics (the easiest way how to get the required level knowledge of all topics is to attend lectures regularly).  As a part of being prepared for practical sessions, you will need to learn the previous lecture ahead of time so that you have a good idea of what you will be doing when you come into class and so that you are ready to work in the current practical session.

THE CREDIT TEST will be based on the lecture and practice materials and your own notes from them. Therefore, when preparing for the test, concentrate your efforts on your own lecture notes.

 Criteria for Credit Award:

- Attendance at 7 practical sessions in the course of semester.

- Be prepared for the presentation of the tax system in your country in the middle of semester.
