The conference is summoned to discuss pressing problems of protection and welfare of farm animals, companion animals, experimental animals, and wild animals, including animals in zoological gardens and handicapped animals.

The conference is addressed to governmental authorities, breeders, veterinarians, scientists, teachers, private sector and non-profit NGOs and anybody who is interested in animal protection and welfare.

Texts of all accepted papers and posters will be published in the Conference Proceedings.
Please follow the instructions when submitting texts.
The deadline for receiving your paper is the 15th of July 2011.
Your paper should not exceed 5 pages (Title, Summary, Keywords, Introduction, Material and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, References) and you are required to send an electronic copy in the RTF format (Times New Roman, 12 point type face) by e-mail.
Please, indicate if the text is submitted as a paper or as a poster.
Approx. 10 minutes are reserved for presentation of each paper.

Poster boards 0.90 m x 1.20 m (width x height).

A preliminary programme of the conference will be sent to the registered participants in September.
